Which is the most common shoe size in 4JS?

In Year 4 we have been answering questions in our Maths lessons.  We have learnt how to collect data in a table and present our findings in a bar graph.  Have a look at Reuben's fantastic bar graph below:

Using Reuben's graph can you answer these questions:
  • What is the most common shoe size in 4JS?
  • Which is the least common show size in 4JS?
  • How many more children had size 3 than size 3 1/2?
  • How many children had size 12 and 13 altogether?
  • How many children were surveyed for this question?

  1. I loved Ruben's graph it was neat, clear and really easy to follow. When i was doing it i found the subject really, really complicated but i had to try my best doing my maths and i hope everyone got a green highlight,in their maths books. while all of us were doing and handling our data some people found it quite interesting, and now we are doing a same lesson but a different question.
